Hydro Pole
Teachers have been watching extra carefully but the students have been wonderful staying away from the equipment while we wait for installation. Over the next two or three days the new pole will be installed. This will mean intermittent power outages to the school and the portables. The new pole should be installed by the weekend.
The hydro pole in the playground has been damaged. A new hydro pole needs to be installed.
Winter Clothing Drive for Northern First Nation Communities

This board-wide initiative begins today, January 23rd, and extends to Friday, February 3rd. We invite families to donate new, or gently-used, clean winter jackets, coats, snow pants, boots, hats, scarves, mitts, and small fleece blankets to our drop-off location at Bellwood, which is in the room behind our main office. Items will be distributed to First Nation communities in need by the Aboriginal Policing Bureau, a branch of the Ontario Provincial Police. We thank all contributors in advance for helping to build a culture of caring communities in our schools!
